Prevention is the key to long term optimal oral health. Ensuring gums are healthy has whole-body benefits, with gum disease being associated with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, dementia and severe COVID-19 outcomes.

Our dually qualified Hygienist and Therapist Aisling is experienced in taking a holistic approach to helping you achieve healthy gums and educating you in what you can do at home to maintain in the best condition.

Aisling can help with:

  • bleeding gums (gingivitis)

  • treatment and prevention of established periodontal disease (gum disease)

  • sore gums

  • gum infections

  • bad breath

    Aisling is available on a Private basis only for hygiene sessions

  • £60 for a hygiene session to include either routine full mouth scaling and polishing, or 1/2 mouth Non-Surgical Treatment Under Local Anaesthetic dependent on the Prescribed Treatment Plan. Initial treatment of established gum disease will involve multiple sessions (typically 2.5 sessions) with three-monthly maintenance and review.

Aisling can also carry out a number of other treatments either by Direct Access (without having to see a dentist) or under referral from one of our dentists. Examples include:

  • Tooth whitening

  • Preventative fissure sealing of molar teeth

  • Some types of restorative work including composite bonding and fillings.
